Our Team
Our founder and lead tattoo artist Alex founded the Studio A in 2022 with a clear vision: Create a modern and exclusive place for tattoo lovers. Alex has years of experience and is a true master of the fine line technique, bringing a unique and creative touch to each of his designs.
With a strong network, his expertise and collaboration with other artists contribute to a vibrant and artistic community at Studio A. By providing a platform for guest artists, industry professionals and new talent, it fosters an environment where, different perspectives and styles collide. With us, the creativity of the tattoo design knows no limits.

Your Tattoo
Our team of experienced tattoo artists specializes (in addition) in fine line tattoos that make even the smallest designs look sharp and clear. At Studio A we are proud of our high quality standards, our modern and extraordinary tattoo designs and our attention to detail.
We guarantee a clean and hygienic environment so that you feel comfortable and we achieve the best possible results. Our artists use only the finest materials and techniques to ensure your tattoo looks great not only after it's inked, but over the long term.
Before your appointment
Please come healthy, unstressed and well rested to your tattoo appointment.
If you feel ill, for example at the beginning of a cold, please let us know as soon as possible.
The same applies, of course, to taking any kind of medication that, for example, makes the blood flow better (e.g. blood thinners).
You support our hygiene standards, if you come to your appointment freshly showered.
Please do not drink alcohol 24 hours in advance, and generally refrain from drugs of any kind before your appointment.
Don't consume excessive caffeine, a cup of coffee is of course perfectly fine.
Our pricing
Of course, we cannot give you a lump sum without a consultation appointment. The prices for our tattoos vary depending on the size and complexity of your design. A small letter is of course cheaper than a full back. We promise you that our high quality services are definitely worth it. Let's create something extraordinary for you!
Asking Alex
How did you get into tattooing?
I attended a tattoo convention when I was young and was totally hooked on the art of tattooing from that point on. Afterwards I saved up for my first tattoo machine and started to put my creativity into artificial skin.
When did you inked your first tattoo and what was the design?
I inked my mom's first tattoo. A recumbent moon with three downward strokes and a diamond at each end. She still goes everywhere and proudly says: "My son made that!"
How is your professional career as a tattoo artist?
I started doing internships at different tattoo artists. Afterwards I was able to gain further experience as a resident in two studios in Hamburg until I opened the Studio A in 2022.
Why did you choose Studio A?
I can simply develop myself better in my own studio, let my creativity run free and I'm also super flexible in terms of working hours, for example.
Why Winterhude?
I've always liked the district near the Alster, the flair on the streets and the lifestyle of the people. The right location for Studio A in Poelchaukamp 23 was therefore a great stroke of luck.
Why should I come to Studio A?
We have good service in the studio, high hygiene standards and we do high-quality tattoos. We also make sure, that our customers feel comfortable with us and welcome personal cooperation.
How did you come to "Fineline"?
Even during my training as a dental technician, I was fascinated by filigree "Futzelwork" with high hygienic standards. It was the same with the needle. I began to get excited about lines and motifs engraved with a steady hand.
Is there a favorite motif from the tattoos you have done so far?
Every motif is individual and has an individual meaning, so every motif is a favorite motif. So there is no general answer to that, but take a look at Instagram @ Studioa.ink .
Which tattoos are you still dying to get?
More micro-realistic motifs.
What do you like best about working in Studio A?
The customers, of course.
What are your personal plans for the future?
In 2022 I laid the foundation with Studio A and I am trying to build on this success. The future still holds many surprises.
